DIY birthday popsicle card

I love making my own cards. It’s become a little obsession of mine. I have a friend who’s birthday is this week and I wanted to make her something special. Since she loves ice cream (she eats them constantly, even in winter), a popsicle card was inevitable.

It took me ages to figure out how to make this work, but you’re going to love it.

You’ll need
1 sheet of card stock
card template
popsicle stick
glitter pens

Click the link above and download the template.

You can print out your popsicle card as big or as small as you like. I’ve designed it so it prints postcard size – that’s a setting on my printer – but the measurements are 100mm by 148mm if you need them. Make sure you print the template out with enough space to fold the card stock in half from the top.

Fold the paper in half and cut out the semi-circle top of the popsicle. Don’t cut all the way around. Leave enough to connect the two halves of paper and make a card.

Decorate the sprinkles with a little bit of coloured glitter glue. Stick on the popsicle stick, find an envelope and you are done!
