It’s been one of those weeks when I’m looking forward to doing absolutely nothing all weekend. Unfortunately, I have to go to Rome tomorrow for a meeting, so I’ll be taking a rain check on my much anticipated Netflix binge session!
Still, heading to Rome isn’t all bad. Like most country expats, I’m excited to do a bit of shopping. After all, you can’t buy everything on the internet all the time! That said, I think I can make an exception for these gorgeous bits and pieces:
no.1- very happy unbirthday: I adore anything Alice and Wonderland and I simply have to have this teacup, no matter how many teacups I have and never use! It’s €76.
no.2- to die for: I was on etsy procrastinating and I saw this amazing felt bread basket. It’s handmade and simply blew my socks off.
no.3- gold fingers: I have been tossing up buying gold cutlery for a while. These ones from Anthropologie are pricey at €45, but I don’t think spray painting normal cutlery gold is going to work. Can’t say I haven’t considered it though!
no.4- a bit luxe: Don’t worry, it’s not really fur! This very luxurious wine bottle holder would be perfect for a winter dinner party. Now I just have to figure out how to DIY one.
no.5 – show off: Can you imagine serving guests cheese from this fold-out marble and wood cheese board? Ah, totally unnecessary, but totally gorgeous. It’s €115.
