Wk 36: Gli Amori

LIST36

Another week is gone. I’m having a fantastic time Down Under with my family. I’m not getting as much done as I wanted to because I’m juggling grandparents, cousins, siblings and the world’s worst internet connection. I can’t even check my emails! But the plan for my last week here is to relax, do some shopping and make enough memories with the ones I love to last me until I come back for Christmas!

It’s taken me the better part of the day to load the pages for this week’s amore list, but I think they’re worth it.

No.1 – happy father’s day: Not sure why, but it’s Father’s Day this Sunday in Australia, but not in every other country, including Italy. We’re celebrating with a big family feast and I hope you’re doing some special with your papa!

No.2 – work it girl: I am the last person who should ever be giving exercise advice, but I started running a couple of months ago and found the Endomondo app. It keeps track of what you do, how much you burn, how far your run etc. You can use it with any type of exercise and it’s really motivational being able to look back at just how much you’ve achieved after each work out. And it’s free!

No.3 –breakfast of champions: I had red velvet pancakes with raspberries and black sesame seed ice cream at a cafe here in Melbourne earlier in the week and if you follow my instagram, you can see I was pretty smitten. I’m going to try to recreate them this weekend and share the recipe if I succeed!

No.4 – winter is coming: I’m loathe to admit, but the warm weather is coming to an end. When I get back to Italy, I’ll be slowly transitioning my home into it’s autumn look and that means soft and warm fabrics and throws like this one from West Elm. It’s €30 and comes in a million colours.

No.5 – ’70s mod: Can’t say I’m 100% in love with the trend, but bell sleeves are back in a big way this autumn. If you’re going to embrace the trend, you might as well go the whole way and channel your inner Brady. I’m loving this dress from Zara because it’s only €40, which makes it all the easier to let go of when the trend inevitably goes out of style.

Have a gorgeous weekend xx
